Q1: Why doesn’t CLMC provide food coupons regularly like others humanitarian organisations?

Because of limited financial availability, food assistance cannot be provided to all Iraqi families. The coupons will be provided only to those found to be most in need.

CLMC is not providing such assistance but sometimes if we know about vacancies or job opportunity we can inform some families in need. We can put refugees and employers in contact.

Refugees can meet with CLMC lawyers in Sin El Fil, Beirut for counseling.

You can visit the dispensary or any contracted PHC dispensary; in case of hospitalization, you can contact NEXtCARE who will assess your case with the hospital and decide if 75% of your treatment costs can be covered.

Q6: What assistance can CLMC provide?

Legal Assistance, legal regularization for detainees, medical assistance for detainees, psychosocial assistance, awareness on sexual violence, financial support for emergency cases, educational support, food and household items, hygiene items, community services activities, rent assistance, health education and shelter activities.

All services and assistance are provided to those found to be most in need and based on the financial limited resources. Contact CLMC to see what can be provided.

Q7: Is CLMC providing financial support for health treatment that cannot be covered by UNHCR?

CLMC is assisting in the coverage of the 25% of hospital fees for vulnerable refugees covered by UNHCR and is providing partial/total coverage for cases rejected by UNHCR. Refugees can approach the nearest CLMC to their location to seek assistance.
