Reconsideration of eligibility for cash assistance for food and basic needs
If you have not been selected to receive monthly assistance (either cash assistance for basic needs or food) you can place a claim for reconsideration of your eligibility between 06 October and 19 November 2021 through the UNHCR call centre at 01 59 42 50 Monday to Friday, WFP call centre at 1526 from Monday to Saturday (08:00 am to 07:00 pm), or through the weblink https://grm.unhcr-lb.org/. Please note the lines may be very busy during this period as many people will be calling at the same time. It is only necessary to make one claim per family. Submitting more than one claim will not affect the result, instead it means UNHCR/WFP will have more claims to process, which may cause delays in the review process.
Your claim and information will be analysed by UNHCR and WFP and some families will be included in the assistance programme. Please be aware that a claim does not lead to automatic inclusion to assistance. Not all families will be included for assistance through this process, and only families who are currently not receiving any assistance will be selected.
If you are included for assistance, you will be informed by SMS between December 2021 and January 2022. If you are not included, you will not receive an SMS.
