Fraud message that UNHCR will provide LBP 732000 to refugees

Be aware there is a false WhatsApp voice note being circulated among refugees. The audio says: “Whoever has a red card, eligible or not, UNHCR uploaded your card with LBP 732,000. Approach the ATM to withdraw the assistance even if you did not receive a SMS. The assistance is to help you with the rent fee.”

DO NOT believe this information as it is fraudulent. We encourage you to stay home and adhere to the government guidelines to prevent Coronavirus and to approach ATMs only if you will receive the assistance upload SMS as the money is actually not available before the upload SMS is received.
